Sodium Citrate
is a sodium salt obtained from citric acid, which interferes with the interaction of the cement crystallization process (Portland and Aluminous) and gypsum, delaying the setting time of the paste, making its hardening slower and extending the open time of the mortar.
In the cosmetics and household cleaning segments, Sodium Citrate is generally used as an acidifier to adjust the pH level.
Handling
Handling in a dry and well-ventilated place is required. Use dust mask and protective gloves.
Storage / Packaging
The Product remains stable for 18 months if stored in a cool and ventilated place. Keep the product in always closed bags, hygroscopic product. The product goes in multi-ply sacks weighing 25 kg.
