Red

Chemical Denomination

Synthetic iron oxide ⍺ – Fe3 O3

Properties and Applications

The red inorganic pigments are synthesized on the basis of Iron Oxide, they present a structure of spherical particles that define their properties; color, stability, dispersion, tinting ans shining power and coverage.

Micronized red pigments stand out for their fast dispersibility, tinting power and low oil absorption.

They are recommended for indoor and outdoor areas, have excellent durability and high resistance to UV degradation, weathering, acidity and alkalinity, in addition to high temperatures.

Widely used in construction, its slightly pseudoplastic behavior contributes to its use in paints and varnishes.

The red hues range from yellowish hues to intense and strong shades of dark bluish red.
